Product Description
Zirconia Ceramic Bearing 695 With Use Temperatures Up To 2400℃ And Wear Resistance
695 Full Ceramic Bearing - Zirconia (ZrO₂)
The 695 zirconia full ceramic bearing is a metric miniature deep groove ball bearing whose inner and outer rings and rolling elements are made of zirconia ceramic material. The basic dimensions of this type of bearing are: inner diameter 5 mm, outer diameter 13 mm, thickness 4 mm. Zirconia ceramics have a toughening mechanism that gives them the highest fracture toughness and strength of all fine ceramics, making them ideal for high-performance bearings.
Core Advantages & Features
Extreme Temperature Resistance
Zirconia bearings can operate stably within a wide temperature range of -80°C to +400°C. Compared to traditional steel bearings, zirconia has a lower coefficient of thermal expansion (approximately 10.5×10⁻⁶/K), maintaining stable internal clearance even under drastic temperature fluctuations without seizure.
Superior Corrosion & Chemical Resistance
Zirconia is an inert ceramic material with extremely strong corrosion resistance. It is virtually unaffected by strong acids, alkalis, organic solvents, seawater, and other corrosive media. This property enables long-term, maintenance-free operation in harsh environments such as chemical pumps, marine engineering, and medical sterilization equipment where steel bearings would fail.
Non-Magnetic & Electrically Insulating
Zirconia ceramic is an excellent electrical insulator (volume resistivity >10¹⁰ Ω*cm) and is completely non-magnetic. In electric motors, generators, MRI medical equipment, and precision electronic instruments, using 695 zirconia bearings completely prevents electrical current from passing through the bearing, avoiding electrical erosion (electro-sparking corrosion) while preventing magnetic field interference with equipment accuracy.
Lightweight & Low Friction
The density of zirconia is approximately 6.09 g/cm³. Lower density means significantly reduced centrifugal force on the outer ring during high-speed rotation (approximately 40% reduction), thereby reducing frictional heat and extending bearing life. Additionally, the self-lubricating properties of zirconia bearings allow them to function properly under poor lubrication or dry running conditions.

Material Selection Comparison
Ceramic bearings in the 695 size are not limited to zirconia (ZrO₂). Other materials may be selected based on specific working conditions:
Zirconia (ZrO₂)
Highest fracture toughness, excellent heat resistance (suitable for around 400°C), ideal for heavy loads and moderate high-temperature environments.
Silicon Nitride (Si₃N₄)
Lower density (approx. 3.2 g/cm³), higher hardness, superior high-temperature performance (up to 800°C+), ideal for ultra-high speeds and higher temperature environments.
Silicon Carbide (SiC)
Highest hardness, strongest chemical corrosion resistance, suitable for extremely strong acid/alkali environments.
