- Friction: Ceramic balls are rounder, lighter, harder, and smoother than steel balls because they are not porous. This reduces friction and energy loss, allowing your equipment to run more efficiently (and for longer) using ceramic ball bearings.
- Corrosion: Steel balls corrode over time, and ceramic balls do not corrode even when perfectly lubricated. In terms of corrosion, the service life of ceramic mixed ball bearings may be ten times that of steel bearings.
- Bearing seat ring: Ceramic balls have much lower elasticity than steel balls. If you encounter heavy spindle loads or spindle collisions, ceramic balls are more likely to cause damage (indentation) to the bearing raceway.
- Electrical conductivity: Ceramic bearings are non-magnetic and non-conductive, making them preferred in applications where electrical conductivity needs to be considered.
- Precision: Ceramic bearings do not expand as thermal expansion as steel bearings, and therefore do not generate as much heat at high speeds or have as much measurable heat growth.
- High temperature: No matter the temperature suddenly rises or drops, our ceramic bearing has no effect at all.
- Long service life: The density of ceramic rolling ball is lower than that of steel, reducing friction generated by the centrifugal force of rotating the outer ring, resulting in longer service life.
